Yes
Most dog grooming services are completed within 2 hours, per pet, for smaller dogs. Larger dogs may take up to 4 hours.
No, please exercise your pet just prior to drop off. They have pads in the event that they need to go.
As soon as your vet clears the puppy for grooming, they can be scheduled for their first appointment. I offer one on one grooming sessions, so your puppy will have very little exposure to other dogs.
All pets need to show proof of current rabies. Your vaccination protocol is between you and your veterinarian. We insist that all dogs have had their core vaccines in the first year of life, then we recommend that your pet be within the AHHA vaccination guidelines. It is the pet parents' responsibility to protect their dogs from contagious disease.
Suzanne Grande NCMG is the designer of the Groomers Harness Products, and I use the Groomers Harness both on the grooming table, as well as in the tub. Learn more at www.groomersharness.com
No, this is a limited breed salon. We do not accept types of dogs who are not covered by most insurance companies.
Absolutely. I have a waiting room where you can wait.
If you are waiting for your dog in the salon, and you want to peek in and see what is going on, you can see on the surveillance monitor by the reception desk. I offer full transparency. You can also watch live on YouTube.
We always maintain a calm atmosphere.
For the majority, we dry by hand using warm air and a brush. Just like you dry your own hair.
For super thick coats we add the use of an HV (high Velocity) dryer.
No. Leaving the tooth brushing to the groomer once a month, or every 6 weeks will not prevent a proper cleaning at the vet. Even daily brushing will need to be accompanied by an occasional cleaning and scaling procedure by a dentist or veterinary clinic.
For healthy ears I use a good quality ear cleanser to dry up moisture, loosen debris, and remove ear wax after the bath. We leave abnormal ears alone, as this is veterinary territory. I do not recommend plucking ear hair, as this can cause an ear infection. Unless the hair is in the exogen phase and comes out easily with finger and thumb.
If your veterinarian prescribes ear plucking, I will be happy to take care of this at no extra charge..
See our blog on anal glands to learn why it is best to schedule this service with your veterinarian.
I will clean the Anal Glands externally on request, at no extra charge.
I prioritize your pet's safety and comfort during every grooming session. I only brush teeth on dogs who are not teething, and do not exhibit any abnormalities in the mouth. I use only the highest quality pet grooming products to ensure your pet's well-being.

I prefer not to clipper or scissor Primitive or triple coat types in a way that could do damage to the coat. I am happy to help you learn to maintain a shedding coat in a way the will not damage the coat.
